Day 1 | Yerevan
Meeting at the airport, accommodation at the hotel. A sightseeing tour to Yerevan, a visit to the cognac factory, excursion and tasting several types of cognac as a Gift.
Day 2 | Yerevan - Areni
Monastery of Khor Virap, which offers one of the most wonderful views of biblical mountain Ararat.
Next we stop in the village of Areni, one of the actively developing winemaking regions of Armenia, where the red wine is produced. The village is also famous for the Wine Festival, which is held every year and the Cave of Birds, where archaeologists have found the oldest footwear and winery.
Day 3 | Yerevan - Garni - Geghard – Tsaghkadzor
A tour to the pagan temple of Garni, the only monument reconstructed in Armenia, dating back to the era of paganism and Hellenism. In the village of Garni participation in the baking process of Armenian bread lavash.
Tour to the Rock Monastery Geghard, a fantastic example of medieval Armenian architecture (XII-XIII centuries), a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The next stop is the "gorge of flowers" - Tsaghkadzor, a popular resort for both winter and summer holidays.
Day 4 | Yerevan – Etchmiadzin
Trip to Saint Etchmiadzin: The Spiritual center of Armenia and the residence of the Catholicos of all Armenians, the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit to the museum "Treasures of Etchmiadzin".
Visiting the churches of St. Hripsime and St. Shoghakat
Visit to the church of St. Gayane.
Visit to the ruins of Zvartnots - the greatest temple of early medieval Armenian architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 5 | Yerevan - Sevan – Dilijan
Tour to Lake Sevan - the largest lake in Armenia and the Caucasus region. On the north-western coast we will visit the monastery of Sevanavank. Dinner.
We continue our trip to the green city-park Dilijan.
