Day 1 | Yerevan
Meeting at the airport of Yerevan. Transfer and accommodation at the selected hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 | Yerevan - Etchmiadzin
Trip to Saint Etchmiadzin: The Spiritual center of Armenia and the residence of the Catholicos of all Armenians, the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Dinner.
Visit to the ruins of Zvartnots - the greatest temple of early medieval Armenian architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Return to Yerevan and visit to Ararat brandy factory - excursion and tasting of several types of cognac. Free evening in Yerevan.
Day 3 | Yerevan - Areni - Old Khndzoresk - Goris
Breakfast in the hotel. Monastery of Khor Virap, which offers one of the most wonderful views of the biblical mountain of Ararat.
Visiting Areni, one of the actively developing winemaking regions of Armenia, where the red wine is produced. In one of the small wineries we will try it.
Visiting the monastic complex Noravank (XIII) hidden among the mysterious red rocks - one of the most beautiful landscapes of Armenia. Dinner.
Excursion to Karahunj - Zorats Karer, megalithic complex, dating from the 6th millennium BC. e., which is considered the oldest observatory, the so-called "Armenian Stonehenge".
Visit to Old Khndzoresk - an uninhabited cave city, to which we will get via a swinging bridge.
Checking-in at Mirhav Hotel in Goris. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 | Goris - Jermuk - Germon
Breakfast in the hotel.
You will fly to the monastery of Tatev in the longest cable car "Wings of Tatev". A picnic in the heart of nature to the sounds of the Shaki waterfall.
A tour to the resort town of Jermuk, which is known as a health and wellness center. Here we will visit the Drinking Gallery with various sources of mineral water and the Jermuk waterfall.
Arrival to the settlement of Hermon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 | Hermon - Sevan - Geghard - Garni - Yerevan
Breakfast in the hotel.
Selim Caravanserai, one of the important destinations in Armenia on the Great Silk Road. These buildings serve as shelter for loaded caravans crossing from Europe to the East.
Noratus is the largest cluster of khachkars in the territory of modern Armenia. Tour to Lake Sevan - the largest lake in Armenia and the Caucasus region. On the north-western coast we will visit the monastery of Sevanavank. Dinner.
Tour to the Rock Monastery Geghard, a fantastic example of medieval Armenian architecture (XII-XIII centuries), UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A tour to the pagan temple of Garni, the only monument reconstructed in Armenia, dating back to the era of paganism and Hellenism. In the village of Garni, participation in the baking process of Armenian bread lavash.
Returning and settling in Yerevan. Free evening.
Day 6 | Yerevan
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out of the hotel.
Time to buy souvenirs and local products of high demand. Visiting a souvenir market Vernissage, and one of the old markets Tashir with a huge choice of local sweets and dried fruits. Lunch in Yerevan.
