Day 1
During the tour you will get acquainted with the Czech capital, walking along the streets and parks. You will walk around the Old Town. Here the main stops will be Tyn Cathedral, the town hall with an astronomical clock and The Jan Hus Memorial.
No less interesting will be a walk along Wenceslas Square. Its main attraction is the sculpture of the patron of the Czech Republic – The statue of Saint Wenceslas. The square is a real architectural ensemble. Here you can see the buildings belonging to the era of Baroque, Classicism, Constructivism and Futurism. Also you will walk along the Charles Bridge, visit the Powder Tower with its viewing platform, the Kampa Island area and numerous embankments.
For delicious food lovers, a visit to Prague will be a real holiday, because the Czech cuisine is famous for its excellent taste. You should remember one simple rule of Prague: the further the restaurant is from the city center the lower prices will be in its menu. We recommend to try such national dishes as Lángos - some kind of donut with cheese, fried in oil with garlic, which tastes great with garlic or onion soup, and for dessert, certainly order Trdelník - incredibly delicious sweet tubules with nuts.
