Day 1 | YEREVAN

Meeting at the airport of Yerevan. Transfer and accommodation at the selected hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 | YEREVAN - ETCHMIADZIN

A guided City tour of Yerevan. During the tour, you will visit the building of Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the Cascade - the famous monumental and architectural composition and the Republic Square (singing fountains). Tsitsernakaberd - Memorial to the victims of Genocide. Visit to Yerevan Brandy Factory (tasting cognac).

Etchmiadzin (Vagharshapat)

In II-IV centuries the city was the capital of Great Armenia. In the center there is a cathedral built in 303 on the site where Christ appeared to Saint Gregory, the Enlightener of the Armenians. To commemorate this milestone, the cathedral was called Etchmiadzin - literally meaning “The Place Where the Only Begotten Descended”.

Day 3 | YEREVAN - GARNI - GEGHARD

(Garni Temple of the 1st century AD and the monastery of Geghard 13th century). Excursion to the fortress Garni - the summer residence of Armenian kings (3rd century BC-8th century AD) and pagan temple of the Sun (1st century). A trip to the monastery of Geghardavank, sightseeing of the unique cave (rock-cut) monastery Geghard.

Day 4 | YEREVAN - SEVAN – DILIJAN

A trip to Lake Sevan (the blue pearl of Armenia - a high mountain lake 1900m). Walk to the Monastery of Sevanavank (pedestrian walk on the hill). A trip to the resort town of Dilijan, sightseeing of the ancient Armenian monasteries Haghartsin (X-XIII century) and Goshavank (XII-XIII).

Day 5 | YEREVAN

Free day in Yerevan.

Day 6 | YEREVAN - KHOR VIRAP - ARENI - NORAVANK

Khor Virap is a monastery of the Armenian Apostolic Church, located in Armenia, near the border with Turkey, at the foot of Mount Ararat. The monastery is known for its location, the site offers one of the most wonderful views of biblical Mount Ararat, where, according to legend, Noah ark landed after the Flood. Excursion to the winery with tasting of Armenian wines.

Noravank is a monastic complex built in the 13th century, about 122 km from Yerevan, on the ledge of the narrow winding gorge of the Arpa River near the Armenian city of Yeghegnadzor. The gorge is famous for its sheer red cliffs, emerging behind the monastery, in whose territory there is a two-story church of St. Astvatsatsin with narrow console staircases.

Day 7 | YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Airport transfer.
