No chance to stay dry (Vardavar Festival)

Since ancient times Vardavar festival has been celebrated with a great luster. It is devoted to the Goddess of water, love, prosperity and beauty - Astghik, who was marking her territory using water and petals of roses. Tradition of pouring water on each other continues until nowadays, where Vardavar festival is celebrated on 98th day after Easter within the period of June 28-August 1.

This year, the favorite not only for locals but also for tourists festival  will be celebrated on 23 of July in Garni and Geghard, as well as in other regions including capital city of Yerevan - where massive actions are foreseen around Swan Lake and with engagement of watering vehicles, using water guns and any other water-spraying means.

So, dear guest you have almost no chance to stay dry.
